WSFU vs. Flow

WSFU vs. Flow:
WSFUFlow (gpm)
Mostly Flushometer TanksMostly Flushometer Valves

How to Use:

  1. Enter WSFU (Water Supply Fixture Unit). The flow in gpm will appear in both cells on the right. One is for systems with mostly flushometer tanks (MFT) and the other is for mostly flushometer valves (MFV). The calculation is based on the classic Hunter Curve.
  2. Notes:
    • For systems with MFV, the minimum WSFU is 5 or more. Therefore, if you need to calculate the flow for WSFU less than 5, use the MFT results.
    • Consult current plumbing code applying to your project for WSFU - Flow relationship.
